MORE ON THE FOUNDER
I am so happy you are here! I am the founder of Spread the Good News Ministries. I'm an online minister of the Good News. A little bit about me is, I have a bachelor’s degree in communications. I am an award-winning broadcast journalist; formerly working as a news anchor, reporter and producer. I also have a love for teaching, writing poetry, making music and singing on the worship team. However, the most important title I will ever have, is servant of our Lord Jesus Christ.
My new life began in 2014, when I was supernaturally saved after reading the satanic bible and having a demonic encounter. This was a consequence of all the doors I had opened. See, I didn’t grow up in a Christian home. I have a dark past of looking to everything and everyone to fill a huge void in my heart. I was involved in new age occult practices like palm reading and astrology. I was also demon-possessed, until Jesus rescued me and completely set me free!I have tasted TRUE FREEDOM through the blood of Jesus and now my heart burns to see lives transformed through the gospel. I long to see others set free, my greatest desire is to witness every knee bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is LORD!
Right after being saved, I attended a wonderful church where I was discipled for a month before I went off to university. Unfortunately, I became a “lukewarm Christian” in college. Thankfully, God was still so good to me as He never gave up on me. I came back fully to the Lord after studying abroad in Europe and suffering from a huge heartbreak. Jesus welcomed this prodigal back with open arms and restored my heart. The Lord later blessed me with an incredible career in broadcast news. He highly favored me and opened doors I could have never imagined myself walking through. I was so grateful and always looking for ways to honor Him. My sign-off at the end of my show was, “Thank you for watching your News at Noon, have a great afternoon, and don’t forget to Spread the Good News!” I said this after every show, hoping someone would understand the hidden message and true meaning. Deep down, I yearned to talk about everything Jesus had done for me but I knew I would never truly be able to proclaim the gospel in the contract I had signed, as these stations own your name and image. The Lord saw my heart’s desire and moved on my behalf.
There finally came a time when God made it known He wanted me to use my gifts and talents for the kingdom of God instead of this world. Through many prophetic words of confirmation and dreams of my own, I listened to the call and took the huge leap of faith to trade in secular news for the Good News, to make His name known above everything. That’s when Spread the Good News Ministries was born! I pray many souls are saved, lives transformed and believers discipled through this ministry God has entrusted me.
